Warranty Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

This Hurtle Canada Limited Warranty is given by 807447 Ontario Limited, 970 Lawrence Avenue West, Suite 209, Toronto, Ontario M6A 3B6, Canada. It applies in addition to your legal warranty rights, which are described in section 6.

1. Coverage periods

  • Standard warranty: 1 year from the date of purchase for new Hurtle products bought from hurtle.ca or an authorized Canadian retailer. No registration is required.
Extended warranty: 3 years from the date of purchase if you register your product at hurtle.ca/pages/registration within 30 days of purchase. Registration is free.
If a product page states a different warranty period, that period applies.

2. What is covered

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. We will repair the product, replace it (with the same or a comparable or newer model), or provide replacement parts. If none of these is possible, we will provide a refund. The warranty covers the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase.

3. What is not covered

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, crashes, improper assembly, storage or charging, water immersion, or failure to follow the manual.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications, including modified batteries or chargers.
    Commercial, rental or shared-fleet use.
  • Normal wear items such as tires, inner tubes, brake pads, grips and decks, and cosmetic wear.
  • Gradual loss of battery capacity from normal use. A battery defect is covered under the 1-year standard warranty.
  • Products bought used, refurbished or from unauthorized sellers, unless they came with a written warranty.

4. How to make a claim

  1. Within the first 30 days, use our Return & Refund Policy.
  2. After that, email contact@hurtle.ca with your order number or proof of purchase, the model (and serial number, if any), a description of the problem, and photos or a video. 3. We may ask you to troubleshoot or to send the product for inspection. If the claim is approved, we pay shipping both ways. For electric scooters, we arrange compliant shipping.
  3. Replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or 90 days, whichever is longer.

5. Discontinued products

If a product or part is no longer available, we will offer a comparable product or a refund based on the price you paid.

6. Your legal warranty rights

This warranty does not limit or replace the warranties provided by law. Under the sale of goods and consumer protection laws of your province or territory, products must be of acceptable quality, fit for their purpose, and durable for a reasonable time.

Quebec consumers: In addition to this warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you a legal warranty that the goods will be fit for the purpose for which they are ordinarily used and durable for a reasonable length of time, given their price, the terms of the contract and the conditions of use. This legal warranty applies at no cost and whether or not you register your product.
